How to Connect Bluetooth Headset and Ensure Compatibility with the CHIGEE Display?

The CHIGEE Display does not connect directly to motorcycle headsets via Bluetooth.
Instead, your Bluetooth headset should pair with your smartphone, which will then transmit audio to the CHIGEE Display. As long as your headset is connected to your phone, it will work with the CHIGEE Display.
Note: Only one headset can be connected at a time.

Dual Connection Setup - headset

The correct setup requires your Bluetooth headset to be connected to both devices:
  1. Connected to your phone (for audio output/music)
  2. Connected to the Chigee (for microphone input)
Note: This dual connection is necessary because:
  1. Audio output (music, navigation, etc.) needs to come from your phone to the headset
  2. Voice commands need to be picked up by the headset microphone through the Chigee

For Android Auto User:

We cannot guarantee that Android Auto will support voice control via Bluetooth headsets. However, you’re welcome to try connecting and see if it works with your setup.
Notes
1. Certain Bluetooth headset models from brands like Cardo, Sena, and Pactalk Edge 's logic of the transmission instruction does not match CHIGEE Display. Due to the wide variety of models, we cannot provide a comprehensive list of incompatible models. If you experience voice assistant issues with these brands, it's likely due to these bluetooth headset models compatibility limitations that cannot be resolved through software updates.
2. Certain models from these brands may not support voice assistant activation via voice commands while riding. In such cases, please tap the voice assistant button on your CHIGEE display to access voice features.
