Action Camera MegaView & Control Support (Insta360 / GoPro / DJI)

CHIGEE Display supports MegaView integration with select action cameras from Insta360, GoPro, and DJI.
Before pairing, please ensure your device firmware meets the requirements below.

What’s Supported

  • Insta360 / GoPro: Live preview + camera control
  • DJI: Camera control only (Live preview is not supported)

✅ Insta360: X5, X4, Ace Pro, Ace Pro 2
✅ GoPro: HERO 10, HERO 11, HERO 12, HERO 13
✅ DJI: Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo 360

Important Note

CHIGEE Display can pair with only one action camera at a time.
It does not support connecting to two cameras simultaneously or switching between two cameras on the fly.

Required Firmware

  • AIO-6: Beta 1.6.2
  • AIO-5 Play: Beta 1.7.1
  • AIO-5 Lite: Beta 3.4.7

How to install beta firmware

  1. On your Chigee Display, go to Settings → System Update.
  2. Enable “Check for beta firmware”.
  3. Tap Check update and follow on-screen instructions to download & install.
  4. Reboot the device after installation completes.

Quick Pairing Tips

  • If pairing fails: first update to the latest beta firmware.
  • Ensure the camera is powered on and its wireless/remote control mode is enabled (see the camera’s manual).
  • Keep the camera near the Chigee Display during first pairing.
  • Update your camera to the latest official firmware.
  • On the action camera, run “Reset Network/Connections” (this clears saved Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and refreshes pairing).
  • If discovery fails, restart both devices and try again.
Info
When connecting the Chigee Display to action cameras, the connection requires continuous presence on the pairing/connection page. The connection will automatically disconnect if you navigate away from this page—for example, returning to the home screen, switching to CarPlay, or accessing the camera’s video playback screen.
