This article applies to the CHIGEE XR-1 dash cam.
The parking monitor automatically records footage when vibration is detected after turning off your motorcycle's engine — helping protect your bike while parked.
How to Enable Parking Monitor
- Connect your phone to the XR-1 and open the CHIGEE GO app.
- Go to the settings.
- Turn on Parking Monitoring.
- Adjust the sensor sensitivity according to your needs.
Here's How It Works
After you shut off the engine, the XR-1 enters a low-power standby mode. If vibration is sensed, the device will power on and immediately begin recording 60 seconds of footage from both cameras.
New parking monitor videos can be viewed in the CHIGEE GO app the next time you connect.
Notes
- The power cable must be properly connected to the battery's positive/negative terminals and the ACC wire. Parking monitor requires a constant power connection to work.
- Parking Monitor mode draws minimal current (approximately 350μA in standby), and has low-voltage auto-shutdown to help prevent battery drain if voltage drops below 11.8V.
