A CHIGEE Display purchased from chigee.com is the international version. The international version works worldwide without regional restrictions on CarPlay or Android Auto.
Which versions have regional restrictions?
The table below shows the purchase channels and CarPlay and Android Auto restrictions for mainland China-version and Southeast Asia-version CHIGEE Displays.

A seller’s location alone does not confirm the CHIGEE Display version. Some unauthorized sellers outside mainland China also sell mainland China-version CHIGEE Displays.
Check your CHIGEE Display version
To check your CHIGEE Display version, review the purchase channel and ask your seller to confirm the version and supported region.
Mainland China purchase: A CHIGEE Display bought through mainland China channels, such as Taobao, JD.com, or a local store, is the mainland China version.
Southeast Asia purchase: A CHIGEE Display sold as the Southeast Asia version through an authorized local channel is restricted to its designated region.
On-screen message: An “Unsupported region” message indicates a regional restriction. The message alone does not identify which regional version you own.
A mainland China-version CHIGEE Display can show “Unsupported region — this feature is not supported” after a firmware update, even if CarPlay worked before. A mainland China-version CHIGEE Display can also fail to activate outside mainland China.

What to do outside the supported region
If your mainland China-version or Southeast Asia-version CHIGEE Display is outside its supported region, contact the original seller to arrange a return or refund. Provide your order details and explain where you need to use the CHIGEE Display.
For a mainland China-version CHIGEE Display purchased outside chigee.com or authorized international channels, the original seller must handle the return or refund. CHIGEE cannot replace or refund that purchase directly.
Important: We cannot remove the regional restriction, change the region, or roll back the firmware on a mainland China-version CHIGEE Display to restore CarPlay or Android Auto outside mainland China.

Can a firmware update unlock a mainland China-version CHIGEE Display?
A firmware update cannot remove the regional restriction on a mainland China-version CHIGEE Display. We cannot change its region or roll back its firmware to restore CarPlay or Android Auto outside mainland China.
CarPlay worked before the firmware update. Can I restore the earlier firmware?
