Position the external GPS module for your CHIGEE Display

Place the external GPS receiver level with its marked side up and keep it clear of metal covers and nearby electronics.

Install an external GPS module horizontally with the GPS emblem facing upward. Keep it at least 20 cm from the main display and cameras to reduce interference.

Choose and check the position

  1. Choose a flat, clean mounting surface with no nearby metal cover obstructing reception.

  2. Keep at least 20 cm between the receiver and the display or cameras.

  3. Secure the receiver with the marked side up. A position behind the cowl is suitable only if it meets the same conditions.

  4. Route and connect the cable using the model’s installation instructions, then check GPS reception outdoors before finishing the installation.
