Choose a mount that matches your CHIGEE Display, then check the complete assembly against your motorcycle’s cockpit. Standard backplate and BMW cradle versions use different mounting arrangements.
Choose the mounting point
The table below compares mounting points and fit requirements for CHIGEE Display mounts. Check the contents of your exact package.
Mount | Fit requirement | Guide or product |
Standard handlebar clamp | 22–32 mm tube; use the matching reducer
Crossbar clamp | 12–16 mm or 22 mm horizontal crossbar
MFP0042 fork stem | 12–29 mm fork-stem mounting hole
Mirror extension | Compatible M8 or M10 mirror screw
BMW 10.25-inch TFT bracket | Listed BMW model and year; standard backplate or supported CG module
BMW RT extension | Compatible R1200 RT or R1250 RT setup with AIO-6 BMW module
BMW lossless installation mount | Listed R1200 RT, R1250 RT or K1600; AIO-5 interface, not AIO-6
Yamaha TMAX560 bracket | Check the listed TMAX560 fitment |
Check the product’s exact model and year list before ordering. Mechanical fit does not establish BMW power, data or Wonder Wheel compatibility.
These examples show the standard handlebar, crossbar and fork stem mounts in that order.
Check the display interface
The CHIGEE Display interface must match the mount, even when the mounting point fits your motorcycle.
17 mm and 1-inch ball mounts
The standard ball assembly is 17 mm. A 1-inch arm requires the compatible 1-inch CHIGEE ball head in place of that assembly. A 1-inch ball measures 25.4 mm; it is not interchangeable with a 17 mm socket.
Check the display interface and arm before buying. This ball-head option does not convert a BMW cradle interface into a standard backplate.
AMPS and Garmin adapters
An AMPS screw pattern alone does not make an adapter fit your CHIGEE Display. Use a mount designed for the mounting interface on your CHIGEE model.
Mechanical mounting and electrical compatibility are separate checks. A matching hole pattern does not confirm power, BMW data or Wonder Wheel support.
For a Garmin cradle, see checking a Garmin mount and contact Garmin with its exact part number. For a CHIGEE mount, check the supported models on the product page before buying.
Check cockpit clearance and cable reach
Check CHIGEE Display clearance from your normal riding position before final tightening. A screen-size label or another rider’s installation does not guarantee fit.
Use the outside dimensions of the exact model and mount to make a cardboard template. Include the depth, connectors and quick-release module where fitted.
Hold the template at the intended position while sitting in your normal riding posture. Keep the original instruments and warning lights visible.
Turn the handlebars fully left and right. Check the tank, fairing, display, cables, key and controls for interference.
Move an adjustable windshield through its full range. Check access to switches and adjusters.
Repeat with the actual assembly before final tightening. A flat template is only an initial check.
AIO-6 dimensions
Use the main-unit dimensions below when checking cockpit space. Both models have a 6-inch screen; the measurements are for the main unit, not just the visible screen area.
Model | Main-unit dimensions | User manual |
AIO-6 Max | 161 × 90.5 × 22 mm
AIO-6 LTE | 161 × 90.5 × 22 mm |
Allow additional space for the mount, connectors, cable bends and any quick-release module. Check the complete installed assembly before tightening; the main-unit dimensions alone do not guarantee clearance.
Check cable reach
These cable lengths apply only to the CHIGEE models listed below.
Model | Cable reference | How to use it |
AIO-5 Lite | Front camera total: 158 cm; rear camera total: 313 cm | Measure the intended routed path, not a straight line between components. |
AIO-5 Play standard version | Power cable: 220 cm | Check the route to the battery and ACC source; this is not the BMW cradle version. |
Camera cable sections differ between models. See camera cable lengths rather than applying the Lite totals to an AIO-6 camera cable.
Check your installation route
Review motorcycle installation examples for placement ideas, then repeat the clearance checks on your own bike.
If routing cables requires removing fairings and you are not comfortable doing that, use a qualified local installer. Give them the CHIGEE Display installation guide.
