A CHIGEE Display can show BMW factory tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) readings through a supported interface. Additional CHIGEE sensors are not needed when the motorcycle already supplies those factory readings.
Supported models
The table below lists supported CHIGEE connection arrangements, subject to the motorcycle transmitting factory TPMS data.
CHIGEE Display | Connection to check |
AIO-5 Play for BMW | Compatible BMW Nav Prep cradle |
AIO-6 Max or AIO-6 LTE | BMW Quick-Release Module and compatible BMW Nav Prep cradle |
AIO-5 Play, AIO-5 Lite or compatible AIO-6 standard-mount setup | CGRC LIN directly connected to the BMW 3-pin navigation interface |
The CHIGEE Display cannot create tire pressure readings. Your motorcycle needs factory sensors and must transmit their data through the selected connection.
Check readings and alerts
On supported CHIGEE Display setups, tire pressure readings update from the BMW data source. Front and rear pressure-alert thresholds can be set separately where that function is supported.
Use the motorcycle manufacturer’s pressure guidance when choosing alert thresholds. A low-pressure alert shows the associated reading when pressure falls below the configured threshold.
If factory data is unavailable, check a compatible CHIGEE TPMS kit. For connection checks, use the BMW factory tire pressure guide.
