If your CHIGEE Display has a bug or behaves unexpectedly, upload a system log soon after reproducing the issue. This helps the CHIGEE team investigate the event. Avoid repeatedly restarting the device before uploading the log, because restarts may overwrite the relevant record.
1. Enable debug mode
Go to the CHIGEE Display home screen.
Tap the time display in the upper-right corner 10 times.
When the “Enter Debug Mode” prompt appears, tap Confirm.
Wait for the device to restart. A red Debug icon should appear at the top of the screen.
2. Reproduce the issue and upload the log
Repeat the action that caused the problem. For example, if Bluetooth disconnected, try reconnecting and confirm the issue occurs again.
Tap the red Debug icon.
Select Upload Logs. The device will search for a Wi-Fi network.
Select a Wi-Fi network and enter its password. You can use your phone's mobile hotspot if needed.
Wait for the “Upload Successful” message before leaving the screen.
Upload the log as soon as possible after the issue occurs. Avoid cycling the power repeatedly before the upload.
3. Send the serial number to support
After the upload succeeds, provide your device serial number (SN) to CHIGEE support. You can find it on the product packaging or on the display under Settings > About, where the serial number is shown with a barcode.
When contacting support, also include your CHIGEE Display model and firmware version, a short description of the issue, and the steps that reproduce it.
