Understanding the Issue
If you notice that OBD data freezes or stops updating on your CHIGEE Display, check protocol compatibility as well as the OBD Module, power supply and connection. Frozen readings alone do not identify the cause.
Designed for Short-Term Diagnostics
Some motorcycle OBD interfaces have limits on continuous real-time data output. Check the supported protocol and data behavior for your specific motorcycle rather than assuming every interruption is normal.
Observable Symptoms
OBD data (such as RPM, speed, or temperature) freezes or lags after a while of riding
The display may stop updating dynamic information
Phone mirroring continues to work
These symptoms can have different causes. Check whether only OBD readings stop updating or the entire CHIGEE Display becomes unresponsive.
BMW compatibility

What You Can Do
For other motorcycles, follow the OBD data troubleshooting checks. If you suspect a protocol limitation, ask the motorcycle manufacturer whether continuous OBD data output is supported for your model. Do not treat all frozen readings as a design limitation.
