You can use the XR-1 with only its rear camera connected. The rear camera must connect to the rear camera port.
Connect the rear camera
With the XR-1 powered off, connect the cable labeled cam b to the rear camera port. Do not use the front camera port.
Leave the front camera cable disconnected if you do not plan to use it.
Cover the unused front camera connector with a suitable dust cap or electrical tape to keep dust out and help protect the connector.
Power on the XR-1 and open the CHIGEE GO App. Check that the rear camera view appears and that rear footage is being saved.
If the rear view is missing, check the cable label and connection. If the problem continues, contact us with your firmware version and photos of the connection.
