The CG2 charging model supports wireless charging up to 15 W or USB-C charging up to 25 W. Wired charging takes priority. A direct battery connection can keep charging your phone with the engine off.
Charging and battery FAQs
Can the CG2 charge wirelessly and through USB-C at the same time?
The CG2 does not provide wired and wireless output simultaneously. Unplug the USB-C charging cable to use wireless charging.
What charging power does the CG2 support?
The CG2 supports up to 15 W wireless charging and up to 25 W wired charging. The manual lists iPhone wireless charging at 7.5 W. These are maximum ratings; actual power depends on your phone and its supported charging mode.
Does the CG2 need an ACC connection?
The CG2 can connect directly to the motorcycle battery and does not require an accessory (ACC) supply. If you choose an ACC supply, it must support more than 3 A. The CG2 operating voltage is 11.5–18 V.
Does the CG2 stop charging when I turn off the engine?
With a direct battery connection, the CG2 can continue charging after the engine is turned off. Low-voltage protection stops charging when battery voltage becomes too low.
When does the CG2 enter sleep mode?
After power is connected, the CG2 enters sleep mode after 1 minute if no charging starts. The indicator goes out. The 1-minute interval applies to standby without charging, rather than to turning off the engine.
Will the CG2 use power while parked?
The CG2 manual lists standby current below 20 μA. Charging a phone uses more power than standby, so direct battery charging can draw from the motorcycle battery while parked. Low-voltage protection is not a guarantee that a battery will remain charged indefinitely.
Where can I find wiring instructions or charging checks?
Use Install and connect your CG2 phone holder for wiring. If charging fails or stops unexpectedly, follow Troubleshoot CG2 charging and indicator lights.
