Under normal conditions, switching off your motorcycle should also shut down the BMW Nav Prep — which in turn powers off the CHIGEE Display automatically.
If the display remains on after turning off the bike, the issue may lie with the ACC (Accessory) control function in your BMW Nav Prep.
In some cases, the Nav Prep continues to supply power even when the ignition is off, preventing the CHIGEE Display from shutting down.
We recommend replacing your BMW Nav Prep cradle, as this issue is related to the cradle’s internal power management and not the CHIGEE device.
This is not a fault with the CHIGEE Display itself.
The issue cannot be fixed through a firmware update.
If you need help confirming whether your Nav Prep is functioning properly, feel free to contact CHIGEE Support.
