Unable to Connect iPhone to Chigee Display via Wireless CarPlay
If your iPhone cannot connect to the Chigee Display using wireless CarPlay, the problem is usually related to Bluetooth/Wi-Fi pairing, iPhone settings, or iOS firmware.
How Wireless CarPlay Works
CarPlay uses a combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for connection:
- Bluetooth establishes the initial pairing between your iPhone and the Chigee Display.
-
After pairing, your iPhone automatically switches to a Wi-Fi direct connection with the Chigee Display for screen mirroring and CarPlay operation.
-
Audio, visuals, and touch controls are transmitted over Wi-Fi for real-time interaction.
Step-by-Step Checklist
1. Allow CarPlay for CHIGEE
2. Enable Siri
⚠️ CarPlay requires Siri to be available even when the iPhone screen is locked.
3. Turn Off Focus Mode
4. Check Screen Time Restrictions
5. Disable VPN Services
6. Turn off Networking & Wireless in System Services
7. Disable Apple Intelligence
8. Optimize iPhone Wi-Fi & Cellular Settings
9. Complete Reset Process
On your iPhone:
- Restart your iPhone

-
Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and forget all CHIGEE-related devices.
-
Turn off Wi-Fi (ensure you’re not connected to any Wi-Fi network).
-
Reconnect Bluetooth and tap "Pair" → "Allow" → "Turn on WLAN & Connect".
⚠️ Important: Do not select "Use Bluetooth Only".
-
Restart your iPhone.
-
Try reconnecting to your CHIGEE device again.
Advanced Fix (Full Reset Solution)
If CarPlay still does not connect after completing the checklist, proceed with the following Advanced Fix:
Change your iPhone name
Turn off Apple Watch and disconnect other devices
Reset iPhone network settings
Change your iPhone name again after reset
- After the reset, rename your iPhone once more to ensure a clean CarPlay pairing.
Reconnect to Chigee Display
If the Problem Persists

- Test with another iPhone to confirm whether the issue is specific to your iPhone.
Provide the following details to Chigee Support:
