Dashcam footage cannot be viewed remotely over the internet.
This is because videos are stored locally on the device’s SD card, and streaming large files requires a direct Wi-Fi connection with the display.
To view or download your recordings, you must connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi signal broadcast by the CHIGEE Display (within 8–10 meters) and use the CHIGEE GO mobile app.
Step 1: Enabling Video Download Mode on the Display
For AIO-6
On the display, go to Settings → Video Download.
Stay on the Video Download interface while connecting and downloading.
Do not exit this screen, otherwise the connection or downloads may fail.
For AIO-5 Lite and XR-2
On the display, go to Settings → Download.
Toggle the Download switch to On.
On the same screen, you will see the Wi-Fi SSID and password.
On your phone, connect to this Wi-Fi network.
In the CHIGEE GO app, tap Connect, then confirm the connection on the display by selecting OK.
Step 2: Connecting via the CHIGEE GO App
Open the CHIGEE GO App on your phone.
Tap Connect and select your device from the list.
When prompted, allow the following:
Bluetooth pairing request
Permission for CHIGEE GO to join the Wi-Fi network (Chigee-XXXX)
Permission for Chigee-XXXX-LE to receive iPhone notifications (if using iOS)
On the CHIGEE Display, confirm the Pairing Request by tapping Pair.
Step 3: Downloading Footage
Once the connection is successful, you can:
Browse your dashcam recordings directly in the CHIGEE GO app.
Download selected videos to your smartphone for storage, playback, or sharing.
