Unable to receive GPS signals

When your device displays "No GPS signal," it means the GPS connection is intact but hasn't received satellite signals. Here are two checks to help:

Check the GPS Module Installation Position

  1. Avoid installing the GPS module under any carbon fiber parts.
  2. Ensure that the GPS module is not obstructed by any metal parts.
  3. Keep the GPS module away from cameras, camera cables, and main unit.
  4. Ensure that the top of the GPS module is facing the sky. 

Allow Time for Satellite Acquisition

  1. Make sure the device is in an open outdoor area, as GPS signals may not be received properly in enclosed spaces.
  2. Depending on weather conditions, it may take between 3 to 10 minutes for the device to acquire a GPS signal, which is normal.
  3.  If you are still unable to receive a signal after this time, consider adjusting the installation position.
