XR-1 Auto-Start: No Manual Action Needed
This article applies to the CHIGEE XR-1 dash cam.
Do I need to turn on the XR-1 whenever I'm going for a ride?
No need! Your XR-1 automatically starts recording as soon as you turn on your motorcycle's ignition. There is nothing to press and nothing to remember — if your motorcycle is running, your XR-1 is recording.
Additionally, even after you park and turn off the ignition, the XR-1 continues to monitor your surroundings through Parking Monitor. This mode automatically triggers recording when motion, vibration, or impact is detected — helping protect your bike even while parked.
