To follow a GPX route on your CHIGEE Display, import it into a compatible navigation app on your phone and use that app through CarPlay or Android Auto. The display does not import route files directly.
Use a route from your phone
Choose a phone navigation app that supports GPX import and your phone’s CarPlay or Android Auto connection.
Import the GPX file in that app, following the app developer’s instructions.
Connect the phone to your CHIGEE Display and open the navigation app in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Select the imported route on the phone or in the app’s supported display interface before riding.
Riders have suggested MyRoute-app and Scenic in the CHIGEE community. This is community feedback; check the app’s supported phone platform, subscription requirements and GPX instructions with its developer.
GPX import in the CHIGEE GO App
The released CHIGEE GO App does not support GPX import. CHIGEE is developing this feature, but no release date has been confirmed. Availability will depend on the actual app release; do not rely on it when planning a ride.
