You can view and download locked XR-1 videos in the CHIGEE GO App or copy them from the microSD card. Locked clips stay in the normal camera folders; they do not have a separate folder.
Save a locked clip with the CHIGEE GO App
Connect to the XR-1 to find the recording and save a copy to your phone.
Open the CHIGEE GO App and connect your phone to the XR-1 over its Wi-Fi connection.
Open the device gallery and find the event on the recording timeline.
Play the clip to check that it contains the moment you need.
Download the clip to your phone, then open the downloaded copy to confirm it plays.
A timestamp from a controller photo or lock-button press can help you find the event. If the event crosses a 2-minute boundary, check and save the neighboring clips too.
Save the footage on a computer
XR-1 recordings appear in the front and rear camera folders when you read the microSD card on a PC or Mac.
Note the event time in the CHIGEE GO App.
Power off the XR-1 before removing the microSD card.
Use a card reader to open the card on your computer.
Find the matching timestamp in the front or rear folder. With fusion output enabled, the merged recording is saved as the F file, whichever camera is the main view.
Copy the required files to your computer and play the copies to check them.
Important: Formatting the microSD card erases recordings, including locked files. Save anything you need before formatting.
For the locking window, see XR-1 clip length, GPS data and video locking. If a clip is missing or will not play, contact us with the event time, firmware version, card brand and capacity, and any error message.
