Step 1: Confirm Power Supply
First, provide power to the device using any of the supported methods below. Observe whether the screen backlight turns on:
- All CHIGEE models: Direct power cable to motorcycle battery, USB power
- AIO-5 Play for BMW, AIO-6 with BMW Quick-Release Module: BMW Navigation Cradle
- AIO-6 with CG Quick-Release Module: CG Quick-Release Module (connected to battery)
If the backlight does not turn on, the device may not be receiving power. Try switching to another power method to isolate the problem.
Step 2: Isolate the Power Source Issue
Case 1: Cable/Quick-Release powers on device, but USB does not
Likely issue: Faulty USB cable, adapter, or output power
✅ Try a different USB-A to USB-C USB cable and power source
Case 2: USB powers on device, but direct battery connection does not
Likely issue: Incorrect wiring or battery issue
✅ Check wiring connections and confirm battery is functional
✅ Try replacing the power cable:
- For AIO-5 Lite and XR-2: use the long standard power cable
- For AIO-6 series: use the short Quick-Release power cable
Case 3: USB powers device, but CG Quick-Release does not
Case 4: BMW Navigation Cradle does not power on device
Step 3: If Backlight Turns On — Firmware Recovery
If the screen backlight turns on using any power method, your device is receiving power. If it still fails to boot properly:

✅ Perform a manual firmware downgrade following the official update procedure
If the device still does not start, please record a video of the update steps and send it to CHIGEE Support for review.
