Fix no 4G connection on the AIO-6 LTE

Check SIM eligibility, activation, APN, firmware and local coverage when your AIO-6 LTE cannot connect to 4G.

If the AIO-6 LTE has no 4G connection, check the SIM’s coverage, activation and data plan first. A SIM can fit correctly but still lack service in your country or city.

Check the SIM and region

  1. Confirm the SIM supports your location. A CHIGEE SIM must stay within its issued package region; see SIM coverage and regional groups.

  2. Check the display’s Region setting against the SIM provider’s country or registration instructions. Changing this setting does not unlock a CHIGEE SIM for another package region. If the correct setting is unclear, include a screenshot when you contact us.

  3. For a CHIGEE SIM, confirm it is activated and has valid data. For your own SIM, complete carrier activation and check both carrier data and CHIGEE 4G service validity.

  4. If the SIM provider permits use in an unlocked phone, test whether it connects to 4G and the internet there. Do not move a device-bound IoT SIM to a phone unless its provider allows it.

  5. Reinsert the SIM correctly in the AIO-6 LTE and restart the display. If possible, test with another suitable SIM known to work in your area.

If a SIM initially worked and then lost service, also check IMEI registration requirements. Read the SIM status icons to distinguish detection, verification and registration problems.

Check APN, software and network quality

  1. Ask your SIM provider whether a manual Access Point Name (APN) is required. Enter the provider’s exact APN, save it and restart the display. Use bicsapn only if your SIM provider specifies it; it is not a universal APN for European SIMs.

  2. Update AIO-6 firmware through Settings > Update and update the CHIGEE GO App.

  3. Open Settings > About > Network. Check the carrier name and the Network Strength & Speed information.

  4. Move the motorcycle outdoors, away from buildings, basements and tunnels, then test again. Coverage can differ between cities or areas within the same country.

When the displayed signal measurement is RSSI in dBm, values closer to 0 indicate stronger signal. As a rough reference, −70 dBm or stronger is generally good, −71 to −85 dBm is weak, and below −86 dBm is very poor. These RSSI ranges are not RSRP thresholds and do not guarantee enough bandwidth for live video.

For a working but weak connection, see remote network optimization. If the App shows low-battery sleep, check low-voltage protection before testing remote access.

Contact us

If 4G still does not connect, contact us with your country and city, a photo of Settings > About showing serial number and firmware version, and a screenshot or photo of Settings > About > Network. Include the SIM type and any activation or registration error.
